Welcome to the lauch of my toxic fashion blog!

I first became concerned with the amount of chemicals used to produce our clothing whilst undertaking an MA in Ethical Fashion.  A myriad of chemicals of various toxicity and hazards – from silicone waxes, harsh petroleum scours, softeners, brighteners, heavy metals, solvents, nanoparticles, ammonia and formaldehyde, amongst others, are used during the production of what we wear. As a result of my research, I have decided to campaign for a change in legislation and have produced a manifesto, which calls on the government to make a commitment to put our health and environment first.
